Welcome to our pilot website! The Grassroots Cancer Research Foundation (GCRF) strives to lead a public revolution against cancer and to help expedite the discovery of better cancer therapeutics and cancer cures. We are cancer patients, families and friends, physicians, students, researchers, and corporations alike that are taking a stand to help fund cancer research ourselves. Provided that GCRF is operated by volunteers and pro bono professionals, GCRF maintains low operating costs; which allow for dollar-to-dollar grant and scholarship awards towards promising cancer research studies and therapeutic developments. We are excited to begin this new chapter in cancer research and drug development and can only hope that you join our ROOTS! campaign. "WE ARE UNITED IN OUR SEARCH FOR THE CURE!"

Local UA GCRF Chapter Supports Race for the Cure!
The local GCRF chapter at the University of Arizona recently partnered with a local chapter of the American Medical Women's Association (AMWA) to help support yet another cancer fighting non-profit organization. The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is a global leader of the breast cancer movement and a strong advocate for cancer research. As one of the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, the Susan G. Komen Foundation exemplifies the type of spirit and mission that GCRF has been founded upon and we are proud to serve as one of their partners. As always, "We Are United In Our Search for the Cure!" Be sure to check out the Ongoing Projects page for photos from the event! |
